From startups to governments, it powers scheduling for millions with speed, flexibility, and transparency. It’s remote-first, async-first, and building the future of time.
Engineering at Cal.com
Engineering at Cal.com is fast, open, and foundational. They build core internet infrastructure for scheduling that is open-source, scalable, and reliable. Engineers own projects end-to-end, move with urgency, and think long-term. The team values transparency, autonomy, and honest collaboration over process-heavy workflows. You’ll thrive in the environment if you care about clean systems, sustainable growth, and building tools that connect the world.
About You
You’re an excellent fit if you’re a senior engineer or technical leader who enjoys building platforms for developers. You understand API design, SDKs, and infrastructure abstraction at a deep level. You can talk code, draw systems, and collaborate across teams.
You’re energized by working with other engineers and with customers.
You enjoy discovering product direction and market fit, know how to influence roadmaps, and have the ability to methodically learn from the people who use what you build. You thrive when you’re close to the product and the people it serves.
What You’ll Do
As Head of Platform, you’ll lead the evolution of our developer-facing infrastructure, including open APIs, SDKs, and embeddable components. You will:
- Act as the steward of the platform product vision, guiding the roadmap and execution
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and growth to align technical direction with company goals
- Lead the Platform team (currently 4 engineers), setting priorities and enabling excellence
- Serve as the bridge between external developers and internal teams, improving the developer experience and ensuring successful integrations
- Own strategic customer deployments and act as a solutions architect, guiding integration and go-live success
- Conduct customer interviews, extract insights from sales calls, and shape roadmap priorities
- Contribute to product-led growth by supporting growth engineers in testing messaging, running experiments, and uncovering new verticals
- Represent the Cal.com Platform in external conversations, developer communities, and key infrastructure partnerships
